At Samurai Karate Cornwall, we believe that it is important to recognise achievements made by all of our students. However, we believe that this is particularly important to recognise achievements made by our cadet (under 16) students, as giving positive feedback for positive achievements helps to nurture young people into responsible and valuable members of society.

An achievement need not just be winning a competition, passing a grading (test for a coloured belt), or even an improvement in technique; worthwhile achievements include improving fitness levels, gaining confidence, or simply being 100% committed to Karate.

To that end, every year at our Christmas Party we give out special awards to some of our students, in recognition of the achievements they have made. Below are the special student awards that have been made over the previous few years:
