Samurai Karate Cornwall is pleased to announce the release of the Samurai Karate grading syllabus DVDs.
Filmed at our Central Dojo in Hereford, the three DVDs - volumes 1, 2 and 3 - cover the grading syllabus of Samurai Europe, and the complete series takes students from beginner through to black belt level.

The DVDs all feature Sensei Tom Beardsley, the Chief Instructor for Samurai UK. Sensei Tom has been training in Shukokai Karate since 1972, and was a long-time student of the late Sensei Kimura.

Doing more than merely showing the techniques, the DVDs take students through the finer points of each technique, with common mistakes being pointed out and areas of “fine-tuning” being demonstrated. The DVDs also promote the all-important values of discipline, spirit and respect.

The DVDs will be particularly invaluable to Samurai Karate’s students, however the wealth of information on them would also be of great benefit to all Shukokai practitioners. The DVDs will also be of interest to students of other martial arts, who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of this style of Karate, which is renowned for its quick, powerful and highly-effective techniques.
